It's Never Too Late To Start

"Age is no barrier. It's a limitation you put on your mind."

- Jackie Joyner Kersee

You ever hear someone say, “I’m too old, I can’t do that,” or “It’s too late, I’m too far behind the other kids to try and play now.”

🎯

Don’t let age be your excuse. Be it if you are older and have a curiosity to play a sport to get active or if you are a 12 year old kid wanting to try a sport. Don't be intimidated because it seems like everyone else that participates in a given sport are already lightyears ahead of you or because you feel like you just aren't in good enough shape.

Just remember, you don’t have to be great to get active or to want to try a sport. You just need the curiosity, the patients to try, the willingness to improve, and the courage to just go out there and try it.

As a lacrosse coach, my advice to new players is to step on the field, get sweaty, go surprise yourself, and have fun!

Best of all, playing sports and getting active is another way to make new friends!
